We are delighted to invite you to register for our side event of the 2026 High-Level Political Forum, titled  Humanity at the Centre: Global Citizenship, Ethical AI, and the Water–Energy–Food Nexus for Transformative SDG Action. The side event will be held on July 10, 2026, in two parts. The event will convene at the United Nations Headquarters (Part 1, 1:15 ~ 2:30 pm), followed by light refreshments, networking, and expert presentations at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations (Part 2, 2:45 ~ 4:00 pm).

Led by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, this event is co-hosted by IVECA International Virtual Schooling, Incheon East Asia Global Education Institute (IEGI), the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) of UNDESA, in collaboration with CoNGO, GNEC, and UNESCO NY Office, bringing together youth, policymakers, educators, civil society leaders, and private-sector representatives to explore human-centered approaches to accelerating SDG implementation.

During the event, student presenters from South Korea, Cameroon, China, and the United States will share local challenges and actionable solutions with policy recommendations driven by youth perspectives, interdisciplinary approaches, and STEAM-based methodologies. Developed through virtual exchange and intercultural collaboration, their projects enabled students to compare international cases and create impactful solutions. The presentations will demonstrate how artificial intelligence (AI) can be applied critically, responsibly, and ethically to address global issues.

Following the youth presentations, representatives from UN Member States, academia, the private sector, and civil society organizations will reflect on how youth-led innovation and projects connected to SDGs 6, 7, 9, 11, and 17 can be feasibly implemented, adapted, and scaled across diverse global contexts. The discussion will explore how human-centered solutions can be integrated with AI and advanced technologies to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, while fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships that contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.

To join this timely exchange on the responsible application of AI and global youth leadership, we warmly encourage you to register for Part 1, Part 2, or both using the links below by July 6 to secure your seat and participate in these meaningful discussions. We look forward to welcoming you as part of a growing global community advancing ethical AI, youth leadership, and collective action for sustainable development.
