On July 29th and 30th, IVECA Center for International Virtual Schooling will be hosting their Global Virtual Roundtable. Students from across the globe in South Korea, The United States, Guatemala, and Brazil have been meeting virtually with their instructors for the IVECA Global Virtual Summer Camp to prepare their presentations.
In addition to creating new international friendships with their IVECA partners, students from the Korea Science Academy of KAIST have been able to collaborate and exchange ideas to learn about each other's cultures and worldviews. Students will join the virtual roundtable panel with experts in public diplomacy, sustainable development, sustainable housing, and air quality.
The roundtable discussion will be led by industry and academic leaders across a variety of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) topics in the field of UN Sustainable Development Goals. The roundtable panelists will contribute to solving local and global issues through collaboration with KSA-KAIST students and overseas youth.
IVECA has facilitated this intensive summer course for the future global STEAM leaders to develop their skills in global citizenship. The collaboration between students and instructors will develop projects to contribute to a sustainable future.
