UN 2023 Water Conference Side Event: Global Citizenship Education for Clean Water and Cleaner Energy

IVECA’s UN 2023 Water Conference Side Event will take place at the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza, Landmark Room (29th Floor). The United Nations Water Conference is a vital global platform where participants from diverse backgrounds come together every ten years to discuss and devise effective solutions to water-related challenges. It has been instrumental in shaping global policy on water issues and promoting the sustainable management of water resources worldwide.

Hosted by IVECA International Virtual Schooling, this event will highlight Global Citizenship Education (GCED) which empowers students to take action responsibly to improve people’s lives and environments with compassion for humanity and a sense of belonging to the interconnected world.

By enabling youth to collaborate on local plastic waste issues in multi-stakeholder partnerships, the panel presentations will demonstrate how digitally facilitated greening GCED can expedite global impact on cleaning water and generating cleaner energy. Panelists will discuss further how diverse stakeholders can contribute to scaling up such projects. → Program details
